With the cellar master as your guide, sample a premium selection of Santorini’s signature volcanic wines, highlighting the island’s unique terroir and, especially, the native Assyrtiko grapes renowned for their boldly refreshing characteristics. The vineyard’s winemaking philosophy makes use of ancient techniques to produce modern wines that exhibit distinctive purity and varietal characteristics – brought to life thanks to the island’s notably anhydrous (dry) climate, volcanic soil, intense sun, and cooling Cycladic breezes.

After this intimate masterclass in Aegean wine appreciation, your gastronomic pleasures continue with a leisurely lunch at the winery, showcasing Santorini’s refined local flavors paired perfectly with the estate’s vintages. Typical elements can include local cheeses, anchovy bruschetta, zucchini salad, tuna tartare, tomato fritters, octopus, surf & turf, and a scrumptious soufflé tsoureki concoction known as melitini.

After enjoying about two hours at Anhydrous, you’ll have the option to be dropped at Fira for further sightseeing or driven straight to Athinios port to tender back to the ship.
