Excursion Orientation of the peninsula mountains tour at Freetown

As you look around the beautiful Tokeh beach, you may notice the line of lush green mountains behind you. This tour is the opportunity to explore that lush landscape of the modest mountainscape of Tokeh.
Departing from The Place resort, travel 5 miles by bus on a walking trip amidst the small Tokeh mountains. Walk to see the natural stone waterfall, and then continue to see natural made caves and old slave trade posts.
On your excursion there are other history-filled highlights, including the ancient Portuguese camp site as well as York Village, which was visited by Queen Elizabeth in 1969.
Return back to The Place for a refreshment.
