Excursion Portland by trolley tour at Portland

From the pier, depart by trolley along the Eastern Promenade, a 78-acre green space dotted with large Queen Anne-style homes overlooking beautiful Casco Bay. Heading westward discover the vibrant downtown area and the meticulously restored 19th-century buildings of the Old Port, housing cozy cafés, restaurants, and shops.
Portland Observatory, Victoria Mansion, Portland Museum of Art, Wadsworth-Longfellow House
Keep your eye out for the Portland Observatory, America's last-standing maritime signal tower and Victoria Mansion, a National Historic Landmark dating from 1860. You’ll also pass the Portland Museum of Art, and the Wadsworth-Longfellow House, where multiple generations of this celebrated family once resided.
Finally, travel along the tree-lined Western Promenade before returning to the pier. Or, if you wish to explore Portland on your own, an optional stop will be made at Long Wharf in the Old Port area. From Long Wharf, it’s about a 10-minute walk to your ship’s pier.
