This half day tour carries you from the pier into the Saint-Tropez countryside for a privately hosted, chef-led Provençal cooking class at Domaine Sainte-Marie.

Depart from the pier in Saint-Tropez and travel by minivan on an hour drive through vine-lined roads to Domaine Sainte-Marie, a biodynamic, organic wine estate nestled in the Mediterranean hills. After a warm welcome, step into the estate’s professional kitchen for a hands-on cooking class with a private chef. Working with seasonal ingredients and classic Mediterranean techniques, you’ll prepare a refined Provençal menu think delicate starters (demonstrated in advance by the chef), a signature main course such as petits farcis or market-fresh seafood, and a regional dessert (Tarte Tropézienne is often prepared ahead to allow focus on the main techniques).
Wine-paired Lunch
When the cooking concludes, sit down to a wine-paired lunch in a serene setting at the estate indoors or outdoors, weather permitting. Courses are served alongside estate wines selected to complement the flavors you’ve crafted. Unhurried and convivial, the meal showcases the château’s hospitality and the timeless rhythm of Provençal life. After lunch, reboard the minivan for an hour drive back to the pier.

Please Note: This tour involves approximately 0.3 miles (0.5 km) of walking on mostly flat terrain with a few steps; it is not wheelchair accessible and not suitable for guests with limited mobility. The estate may relocate the lunch indoors in case of heat or rain. Comfortable closed-toe shoes are recommended for the kitchen and a hat/sunscreen for time spent outdoors; the program operates by advance availability on select dates.
