Depart the pier for the scenic, approximately 40-minute drive to Jaco Falls. Take in splendid vistas of this lovely little waterfall and its waterfall pool from the scenic viewpoint; you may also opt to descend the 57 steps leading down to the waterfall pool for a closer look.

Next, re-board your coach and take a drive through the central rainforest reserve en route to the Hibiscus Eco-Village, the starting point for your tubing adventure. Upon arrival, you are welcomed by with a refreshing fruit juice and a traditional dance performance conducted by a Carib Indian cultural group. This eco-village is renowned for its beautiful surroundings and natural river pools. With changing rooms, washrooms and easy river access, this site is the ideal starting point for your river tubing adventure.

After receiving your tubing and safety instructions, embark your river-tube for a picturesque and peaceful, approximately 1.5-hour voyage in the heart of the pristine rainforest. The river takes you on a good combination of fast rapids and lazy, slow-flowing pools, making your journey both fun-filled and relaxing. Your route takes you downriver to the last, and only, Carib Indian territory in the world. Along the way, marvel at the diverse birdlife, vegetation and spectacular natural scenery staged by the beautiful Concord Valley. At the conclusion of your tour, re-board your coach and commence the approximately one-hour drive back to the pier.

Please note: This tour involves a moderate amount of activity and a moderate amount of walking for approximately 219 yards (about 200 metres), at times over uneven, natural and gravel surfaces, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach, a few steps to embark/disembark the river tube, and 57 optional steps to access the waterfall pool. This tour is recommended for active guests who are in good physical condition. This tour is not suitable for pregnant guests, guest with neck and/or back problems, guests with heart and/or respiratory conditions, guests prone to seasickness, guests with limited mobility, and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Guests are advised to wear a swimsuit under a cover-up with beach or water shoes, and bring sun protection, a towel, change of clothing, bottled water, and US$ or local currency for purchases from the ship. Guests must be at least six years old to participate on this tour. Guests weighing more than 250 pounds (about 113.4 kilograms) cannot participate on this tour. Changing facilities and restrooms are available at the Hibiscus Eco-Village. A signed waiver is required to participate on this tour. Operation of this tour is subject to weather conditions.
