Depart the pier for the short, guided stroll to a lovely beach in a beautiful, sheltered haven, the launching point for your eco-friendly sea-kayaking adventure. Upon arrival, receive your safety and kayaking instructions and gear, then embark your two-seat kayak and begin your approximately 2.25-hour guided kayaking tour.

Led by your guide, explore the coastal waters of the fjord. The kayak enables you to explore the local flora and fauna that surrounds you, whilst positioning you for a wealth of spectacular panoramic vistas of the fjord along the way. During the tour, learn about the creation of the fjord landscape and marvel at the breath-taking natural beauty of this wonderfully-scenic locale. At the conclusion of your guided kayaking journey along the Eidfjord, return to the starting point at the sheltered beach. Upon arrival, disembark your kayak and commence the short, guided walk back to the pier.

Please note: This tour involves an extensive amount of activity and a moderate amount of walking for approximately 656 yards (about 600 metres), at times over uneven, slippery and natural surfaces, with a few steps to negotiate to embark/disembark the kayak. This tour is recommended for active guests who are in good physical condition, and can swim well in water over their heads. This tour is not suitable for pregnant guests, guests with back and/or neck problems, guests with heart and/or respiratory problems, guests prone to seasickness, guests with limited mobility, and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Guests are advised to wear warm, comfortable clothing in layers with flat, rubber-soled and closed-toe walking shoes, and bring sun protection, a sweater or windbreaker, and a light raincoat from the ship. Guests are advised to leave jewellery, keys, electronic devices, etc. on board the ship. There are/are no changing facilities at the kayaking venue. Guests must be at least ten years old to participate on this tour; minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over 18 years old. Guests must be at least 18 years old to be served alcoholic beverages. Although frequently encountered on this type of tour, fish and marine life sightings are not guaranteed. This experience takes place in a Natural Reserve environment. Guests are requested to respect local flora and fauna according to the local laws and regulations. Due to the type of terrain, guests must stay with the group. No independent exploration is permitted without an authorized guide. This kayaking tour operates in two-seat kayaks. All safety and kayaking equipment, including wetsuits, windproof jacket, safety helmet, safety vests, and wetsuit boots, is provided. A safety vest and helmet must be worn at all times whilst kayaking. Operation of this tour is subject to weather conditions. A signed waiver is required to participate on this tour. The tour sequence may vary. Space on this tour is very limited; we suggest you book in advance to avoid disappointment.
