Explore Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site located in the historic area of Zanzibar City. Delve into this remarkable representation of a Swahili coastal trading town rich in Afro-Asian heritage, featuring the historic architecture of Stone Town that showcases centuries of vigorous maritime trade. Wander through the Darajani Market where locals sell their fresh fruits and spices, and take a moment to visit the East Africa Slave Exhibition housed in the old Anglican Church. Meander through the narrow alleys to the Hamanmni Persian Baths, then proceed to Forodhani Gardens for a view of the two most architecturally significant buildings in the old town. Don't forget to stop by the restored Old Arab Fort, which was established in the 16th century.
