Stutthof Concentration Camp
Depart the pier for the scenic, approximately one-hour drive along the Polish coast and through small, picturesque villages en route to the Stutthof Concentration Camp. Established in 1939, Stutthof imprisoned, tortured and exterminated tens of thousands of citizens from 25 different countries and nationalities, all under the most brutal conditions. Stutthof was freed on the May 9, 1944 by Soviet Army troops.
During your visit, take a guided walking tour and view a film depicting the horrific legacy of this camp.
Following your touching experience, return to the ship during the approximately one-hour drive back to Gdansk.

Please note: This tour involves an extensive amount of walking for approximately 1.4 miles (about 2.3 kilometres), at times over uneven and cobblestone surfaces, with five steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach. This tour is not suitable for guests with limited mobility and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Guests are advised to wear lightweight, comfortable clothing with flat, closed-toe walking shoes, and bring sun protection and a sweater or light jacket from the ship.
