Excursion Symi island escape tour at Rhodes

Cruise line: Silversea
Difficulty:

This full day tour carries you across the Aegean on a private yacht to the enchanting island of Symi.

Mandraki Marina, Deep-blue Water

Depart from the pier and take a short drive to Mandraki Marina, where your private motor is ready for embarkation. After a short safety briefing, settle on deck to watch Rhodes’ shoreline fall away as you set a comfortable course across deep-blue water toward Symi.

St. George’s Bay Swim

Your first anchorage is the spectacular St. George’s Bay, a dramatic amphitheater of towering cliffs embracing crystal-clear, turquoise water. Here, choose to swim and snorkel straight from the yacht’s ladder or simply unwind on deck in the quiet of this boat-only sanctuary.

Yialos (Symi Town)

Continue to Yialos (Symi Town), a postcard harbor of neoclassical mansions cascading toward the sea. Disembark for free time along the waterfront—browse small boutiques and artisan stores, pause for a coffee, or photograph the pastel facades mirrored in the quay. Rejoin your yacht for an unhurried coastal run, with time to relax on cushioned seating and enjoy the Aegean horizon. Back in Rhodes, disembark at Mandraki and take the brief drive to the pier, concluding your island escape.
