Depart the pier by Coach towards Padua.
Padua is located at about 23 miles west of Venice. In the 13th century Padua's glorious university was founded,as the second oldest in Italy after Bologna. However, Padua reached her apex of splendor in the 14th-15th centuries with great artists such as Giotto, Dante and Petrarch. Today, it comprises a historic midtown section and a modern industrial zone.
Upon arrival your walking tour will start at Prato Della Valle, the elegant oval park adorned with a ring of 78 statues. After a short walk you will reach Piazza del Santo where you'll visit the Basilica that contains the relics of St Anthony.
Your walking tour will continue through the heart of the city, to see the important sites such as the Bo Palace, the ancient University main seat, the Caffè Pedrocchi, Piazza delle Erbe and Piazza della Frutta, two picturesque squares with local daily markets.
At the conclusion of the tour rejoin your coach for your transfer back to pier
