Excursion The royal yacht britannia exclusive tour at Edinburgh
Cruise line: SilverseaDifficulty:
Experience a taste of royalty on board the Royal Yacht Britannia during this exclusive after-hour excursion.
Leith, Royal Yacht Britannia
Your exclusive tour begins with a short walk to the Royal Yacht Britannia. For over 40 years, the Royal Yacht Britannia proudly served the British Royal Family and sailed over a million miles on nearly a thousand official visits. Britannia has been permanently berthed in Edinburgh since her decommissioning in 1997. Entertaining on board the Britannia is no different today from when she was on state duty, welcoming royalty and world leaders. The same meticulous attention to detail is observed, and the same high standards of service are rigorously followed to ensure guests are treated like royalty.
Red Carpet Welcome, Guided Tour
Upon arrival, embark the ship. As you walk along the red carpet, the sense of occasion builds. From here, proceed for a guided tour of the ship for a unique insight into what life was like on board.
Champagne, Britannia Guestbook
Your guided walk will include a pause for a refined glass of champagne served in the Royal Yacht Britannia Gift Shop, where some time will be made available for you to purchase souvenirs of your memorable evening.
At the end of your private visit, you will receive an official Britannia Guestbook as a memento of your unique experience.
Your tour will conclude with a short walk back to the ship.
