Gough Island is a remote, rugged volcanic island, and is part of the Tristan da Cunha archipelago. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is renowned for its exceptional seabird colonies, including albatrosses, petrels, and shearwaters, which breed in the island’s pristine, untouched environment. Gough Island is a vital conservation area, home to many endangered species.
This activity is conducted by Silversea Expedition Team and is depending on the weather and the sea condition of the day. More specific information and logistics will be communicated by the Expedition Team on board.

This activity is not suitable for guests with limited mobility, back/neck/hip problems, those who are pregnant or guests who use a wheelchair. Although no walking is required, guests must be able to manoeuvre in and out of the Zodiac. Participants must be a minimum of 6 years of age. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Lifejackets are provided. Child lifejackets are available. Guests must be able to speak conversational English in order to understand safety instructions.
